This is a zoom meeting offering a bit of a peer reflective space for any south west emdr people who might like to come along. One of the things EMDR South West can do at the moment is offer a space for catching up and networking . It will be very informal. We cannot offer food but you are welcome to bring your own :-)

Reminder. Friday 31st January 8.30-2pm Workshop, AGM and networking lunch. £25 including lunch. Buckfast Conference Centre.
The workshop will describe the method and process of the deep therapeutic relaxation therapy of Autogenic Training as an effective self-generating resourcing for clients experiencing trauma. It will illustrate how AT has been successfully used as an effectiveness adjunct therapy for people being treated with EMDR. It will include a previous client speaking of their experience of being treated for historic PTSD, with EMDR with AT as a supportive resources therapy. CPD points applied for.
The AGM will be short and will be a chance to contribute to the future of EMDR South West.

Poster of events
I had an email from Susan Darker-Smith about some forthcoming events asking if we can let you know about some forthcoming events the first is the Sandra Paulsen EMDR with OCD event scheduled for September 2019. Profits made from these events go towards supporting EMDR research with children and families - hence these CPD events are never offered with the intent of making a financial profit. But rather bringing international speakers over the UK and enabling research into EMDR which might, in the future, challenge NICE guidelines.
